The Water Supply Division is responsible for providing a safe and sufficient supply of drinking water that meets Water Quality Standards, as required by the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Water Supply Superintendent
Jonathon Himsworth is the Plant Superintendent for the City of Jacksonville’s Water Treatment Plant. He has been with the City of Jacksonville for over 9 years. Jon has over 9 years of experience in the water and wastewater field and has acquired two Associate Degrees and a Construction Management Diploma from NC State University. Jon has several water and wastewater certifications the state offers and has earned multiple award recognitions for his efforts in the industry.
